Spangenberg Casa
Spangenberg Casa is a cozy self-catering home in the heart of Onrus, a holiday home away from home an the the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life. The house is within easy walking distance from the local little shopping centre, which offers a doctor’s consulting rooms, a pharmacy, a butcher shop, a liquor store, a small supermarket and a pub. The Onrus beach and lagoon are but a short drive away.
Onrus River is just a few minutes’ drive from Hermanus proper and two shopping centers, one of which is the new Whale Coast Mall, where there is a large variety of shops, including Checkers, Woolworths and Woolworths Food, Dis-Chem, a deli, restaurants, etc.
Your four legged family members are also welcome - Prior to arrangement - Only 2 small doggies are allowed, bring along your pet blankets and beds. Unfortunately no cats allowed
The living area has a kitchen that is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, cutlery and crockery, as well as a breakfast bar with chairs. A dishwasher and a washing machine are also available. From this kitchen is a dining table and a lounge with comfortable seating and a smart TV. Free WiFi access is available.
Outside, there is a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and a built-in braai, which is a great place for an evening cocktail while the fire is burning. Guests have secure parking behind a locked gate on the premises.
This house can comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2 children at a time and consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom also has a double bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. A shower-over bath, basin and toilet are available in the second bathroom.
A once off cleaning and laundry fee of R 1 200.00 is due regardless of the length of stay.
A breakages deposit of R 2000.00 is due which is refundable should there be no breakages or damages.
Strictly no smoking inside the house (R1000 penalty will be charged). You are welcome to use the outside areas to smoke.
No loud music or noise is allowed that may disturb neighbors. No External speakers om Boom boxes are allowed
No unsupervised groups of learners, matriculants or undergraduate students allowed.
Strict quiet hours are from 22H00 and 09H30

Booking Terms
Booking terms:
Your 50% deposit within 48 hours after making the reservation secures your booking. The balance is due five (5) days prior to arrival. All payments must be done with EFT, if you deposit cash, you will have to refund the cash deposit fee to us. NO keys will be handed over unless the full amount has been paid. A breakages deposit of R2000 is due which is refundable should there be no breakages or damages. A once off payment for post-clean and laundry fee is due.
Terms and Conditions:
The following cancellation fees shall be applicable:
No cancellations less than 3 months prior to arrival in peak season, and 2 months in off-peak and shoulder
season, or forfeit whole deposit.
Cancellations longer in advance: forfeit 20% of the deposit amount.
In case of closure of beaches, restaurants, bars and / or any other tourist attractions as well as the ban on alcohol sales, the cancellation policy is appropriate as usual. Only in case of travel ban between provinces will the cancellation policy be exceeded.
